W (Tungsten) Compounds

Procurement From China’s Top Supplier to Meet All the Needs of Applications Our Customers

Tungsten is a rare metal, which has the highest melting point of any metals and also has a high degree of hardness. Iwatani has supplied various tungsten materials for use in a wide range of applications, including carbide tools, catalysts, and special steel for many years from a supplier in China which has a 68% share of wolframite (black tungsten), one of the mineral ores of tungsten. This enables us to respond to customers’ various needs, in the form of stable medium/long-term supply, reduced costs, and small-volume supply for new development applications.
