High Strength and Electrical Conductivity to Reduce Dimensions
Beryllium copper combines the high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, and ease of machining of copper with the high strength and spring properties of beryllium. With the addition of 0.5% to 3.0% beryllium to copper, this alloy offers strength comparable to special steel. Iwatani supplies beryllium copper for applications in advanced fields that help achieve the SDGs and establish a decarbonized society.
