Aluminum foil Cathode lead material The cathode leads are made of aluminum foil, as is a collector.
Pure nickel foil Anode lead material The anode lead uses pure nickel for low electrical resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, and ease of manufacture.
Clad foil Anode lead material The clad foil used as the anode lead material offers high electrical conductivity to improve battery performance—for example, by increasing capacity.
Copper foil Anode lead material Copper foil also offers excellent electrical conductivity. This is why it’s used for anode leads, along with pure nickel.
