Ship Name
HYDROGEN FUEL CELL SHIP
The ship’s name, Mahoroba, is a phrase used in a poem by Yamato Takeru no Mikoto in Kojiki, ancient Japanese chronicles, as he felt nostalgic for his homeland. It means “a nice place to live.” The name was chosen for this ship with the hope that the world in the future will become a true Mahoroba through coexistence with nature and that this clean hydrogen fuel cell ship will help achieve the vision.
