Versatile, smaller types (10kW-class) join the lineup
of the much talked about Emergency LP Gas Generators

Iwatani Corporation (Head office: Tokyo and Osaka; President: Masao Nomura; Paid-in capital: 20 billion yen) has distributed emergency LP gas generators developed in conjunction with Denyo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tokyo; President: Shigeru Koga; Paid-in capital: 1,954,840 thousand yen).

We have added new, versatile and smaller types (9.9 kVA and 12 kVA) to the lineup, and we plan to officially start taking orders from October 17 and ship from December.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, people have once again recognized the effectiveness of LP gas as a form of local energy that is reliable in times of major disasters when power, gas and other lifeline systems have shut down, and that can be used as fuel for cooking, boiling and warmth. Emergency LP gas generators are now being installed nationwide to supply power in the event of a major disaster.

We have distributed 34 kVA and 20 kVA types for installation in plants, public facilities and apartment complexes. This time around, we will commence the distribution of smaller models in more versatile 9.9 kVA (single-phase, three-wire) and 12 kVA (three-phase, three-wire) generating capacities that offer site-appropriate solutions and the installation of these emergency LP gas generators in small offices and hospitals. We intend to meet more specific demands in terms of supplying local energy at times of disaster and work on offering solutions to a variety of users.

【Characteristics of the units】

Denyo Co., Ltd. sustains a high domestic share and reliability in power generating units for disaster prevention and portable use. These emergency LP gas generator units maintain the same level of reliability while boasting features desired by users.

・ Fully Japan-made generator units with high reliability and ease of maintenance services.
・ Closed structure achieves super-low noise (not exceeding 65dB).
・ Easy installation, operation and maintenance (has on-board switcher and self-inspecting function).
